Join us for a half-day training to give your school health team members the knowledge they need to work more effectively.

This free, informative, and interactive training is designed to support school health team members in improving policies and practices related to student health. From inspiring ideas to concrete tools, you'll leave armed with strategies to "health up" your school!

The training is recommended for:

  • School health teams or individual team members
  • Active teams, teams just starting out or potential team members
  • Teachers, school staff, district staff, parents and community members

We'll discuss tips for easily incorporating them into family favorites and sample a fall snack that both kids and adults will love! We'll also learn about some non-food health boosters that everyone can easily adopt.

Explore lesser-known grains, including naturally gluten free options, and identify delicious alternatives to refined grain products. We'll end the session by sampling some whole grain, booster-packed bites including a "healthed-up" version of a Thanksgiving staple!
