2017 East End School Wellness Conference
Perfect Attendance for Wellness Foundation's 2017 East End School Wellness Conference
Wellness Foundation, in partnership with Southampton Hospital's Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute and Edible School Gardens hosted the 2nd Annual East End School Wellness conference on May 11th at The Muses in Southampton. The purpose of the event was to inspire healthy changes at the school level in order to help the children and families in our community live healthier lives. Research has shown that good nutrition and physical activity can strengthen academic performance, improve classroom behavior and lead to a lifetime of good health.

School Wellness Conference Winners
East End Schools Receive Inaugural School Wellness Leadership Awards
East Hampton Middle School was the recipient of Wellness Foundation's inaugural Excellence in School Wellness Award for their long-term dedication to school wellness. The $2,500 award will be used for school wellness activities.

Lisa Serrell of Southampton Elementary School was the recipient of Wellness Foundation's inaugural School Wellness Champion Award. The $400 award will be used for school wellness activities.
